During my recent stay at Gästehaus By George, I was thrilled to immerse myself in the charming atmosphere of Stolberg's historic Old Town, just a stone's throw from the majestic Stolberg Castle. The unique layout of the apartment-each room perched on a different floor-added a good quirkiness that my travel companion, an architecture enthusiast, particularly enjoyed. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals after a day of exploring the local sights. Plus, having free Wi-Fi and a satellite TV in the cozy living room was a perfect touch for unwinding in the evenings. Just outside, the intoxicating aroma from Bistro By George beckoned us for a taste of hearty German dishes paired with local beers, making dining a breeze. While the stairs might pose a challenge for those with mobility issues, I found the historic neighborhood, with its charming pedestrian areas and nearby supermarkets, made it worthwhile. Gästehaus By George offered a splendid mix of comfort and historical appeal-definitely a spot worth revisiting for history buffs or anyone craving a taste of authentic German culture.
